AIW Community Wellness Center Is Stepping Up to Help...
COVID-19 Task Force
~ Coordinating Community Preparation and Response ~
As the global understanding of COVID-19 evolves, AIW Community Wellness Center is coordinating operational preparation and community response utilizing our network of local churches and businesses to help our community cope with our Covid-19 Pandemic .
Mountains Community Hospital's (MCH) top priority is the safety of our patients, families, healthcare workers, and staff.
MCH’s High Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCID) team will continue to focus considerable effort on preparing for a potential outbreak in coordination with public health officials.
Please visit our new FAQ page that we will update as necessary: https://www.mchcares.com/coronavirus-faqs/
MCH is urging all patients that are experiencing cold and flu-like symptoms to call their Primary Care Physician immediately to receive instructions.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency related to any respiratory symptoms, and feel you need to visit the Emergency Room, we urge you to call our Emergency Hotline at (909) 436-3113 prior to your arrival. We will ask about your symptoms, your possible exposure to an infected person, as well as your travel history.
When you get to the hospital, please call the hotline at (909) 436-3113 to notify the staff that you have arrived so an MCH staff member can meet you at your vehicle and accompany you into the hospital. This will help prevent possible exposure for the elderly and sick.

HOW THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IS HELPING
WORKERS AND EMPLOYERS:
Update on the Coronavirus and how the State of California is responding to help workers and employers:
HOW THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IS HELPING WORKERS AND EMPLOYERS:
Sick or Quarantined
If you’re unable to work due to having or being exposed to COVID-19 (certified by a medical professional), you can file a Disability Insurance (DI) claim. DI provides short-term benefit payments to eligible workers who have a full or partial loss of wages due to a non-work-related illness, injury, or pregnancy. Benefit amounts are approximately 60-70 percent of wages (depending on income) and range from $50-$1,300 a week.
For guidance on the disease, visit the California Department of Public Health website.
If you’re unable to work because you are caring for an ill or quarantined family member with COVID-19 (certified by a medical professional), you can file a Paid Family Leave (PFL) claim. PFL provides up to six weeks of benefit payments to eligible workers who have a full or partial loss of wages because they need time off work to care for a seriously ill family member or to bond with a new child. Benefit amounts are approximately 60-70 percent of wages (depending on income) and range from $50-$1,300 a week.
Reduced Work Hours
If your employer has reduced your hours or shut down operations due to COVID-19, you can file an Unemployment Insurance (UI) claim. UI provides partial wage replacement benefit payments to workers who lose their job or have their hours reduced, through no fault of their own. Workers who are temporarily unemployed due to COVID-19 and expected to return to work with their employer within a few weeks are not required to actively seek work each week.
However, they must remain able and available and ready to work during their unemployment for each week of benefits claimed and meet all other eligibility criteria. Eligible individuals can receive benefits that range from $40-$450 per week.
Employers/Small Business Owners
Workplace Health and Safety
For information on protecting workers from COVID-19, refer to the Cal/OSHA Guidance on Coronavirus.
Businesses and employers can visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website for help with planning and responding to COVID-19.
Reduced Work Hours
Employers experiencing a slowdown in their businesses or services as a result of the coronavirus impact on the economy may apply for the UI Work Sharing Program. This program allows employers to seek an alternative to layoffs — retaining their trained employees by reducing their hours and wages that can be partially offset with UI benefits. Workers of employers who are approved to participate in the Work Sharing Program receive the percentage of their weekly UI benefit amount based on the percentage of hours and wages reduced, not to exceed 60 percent.
Visit Work Sharing Program to learn more about its benefits for employers and employees, and how to apply.
Potential Closure or Layoffs
Employers planning a closure or major layoffs as a result of the coronavirus can get help through the Rapid Response program. Rapid Response teams will meet with you to discuss your needs, help avert potential layoffs, and provide immediate on-site services to assist workers facing job losses. For more information, refer to the Rapid Response Services for Businesses Fact Sheet (DE 87144RRB) (PDF) or contact your local America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM.

Integrative Nurse Consultant Since 1995
A Bit About Me:
"I believe that individuals who are determined to make a difference in our world, can, with desire, drive, dedication, discipline, passion, and persistence, the world can be altered, and billions of people's lives can be impacted positively in an unimaginable way." ~ ATGW
I started making a difference 35 years ago when I graduated from nursing school as a registered nurse in 1985.
In my 35+ years of nursing practice I have acquired a wide range of nursing experience from caring for 1lbs 24-week neonates in NICU units to working pediatrics, epidemiology, infusion clinics, PIC insertion nurse, radiology, and more.
However, rescuing California's growing medically fragile foster care population has been the gale of wind under my wings to make an impact and a difference in our world.
In 2005 I created a 501(c)3 c non-profit named Angels In Waiting to rescue medically fragile infants and children who languish in our failing foster care system. In 2014 Angels In Waiting helped to create a California state law that gave nurses under a federally funded nursing program priority placement for California's medically fragile foster care population. I have witnessed first-hand the miracles that have occurred through the hearts and hands of our dedicated nurses who have and continue to save countless childhoods.
Botanical medicine has always been a desire, passion, and dedication of mine. It has helped many of the children in my care to flourish.
Addition to my commitment to saving more babies' lives, it has always been my passion to help people heal themselves thru botanical and natural medicine. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to embrace both of my life passions.
If you are suffering from a life-threatening illness or from debilitating symptoms please contact Linda for an Integrative Nurse consultation.

Therapeutic massage involves addressing deeper, more specific muscles of the body compared to a Swedish massage that is performed to provide relaxation. The therapist needs extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and addresses the joint range of motion limitations. Therapeutic modalities treat the soft tissues of the body with a combination of techniques that include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, tissue manipulation and mobilization. These techniques are aimed at correcting soft tissue imbalances and dysfunctions, enhancing range of motion, increasing blood flow, decreasing pain and healing time, and more. CBD oil can be added to any massage to enhance the reduction of inflammation and pain. Each clinical session is designed towards the client's specific therapeutic needs which are revealed through their physicians diagnosis, direct communication, instinctual, and energetic discovery.
by Lisa Reavley, CMT
Since her childhood Lisa knew she was meant to touch people at the core of their being, doing what she could to make a difference. Well into her adulthood, after meandering through a couple of different professions, she circled back to her first love. Lisa quit her job and went back to school to learn massage therapy and in 2001 she graduated from the American Institute of Massage Therapy. She took her national NCBTMB test to become an LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist). During her studies, Lisa was introduced to multiple modalities which confirmed to her that her real calling lay within the field of holistic massage and bodywork. With her continuing education she naturally gravitated toward therapies that treated the whole person. In April 2008 she took the step of becoming a Reiki Master and not only did that effect her massage practice, it had a profound effect on all areas of her life. Lisa now practices what she calls Metta Massage, the act of loving-kindness through the bodywork she does. She believes in treating Mind-Body-Spirit so her massage sessions are blended to include various styles of massage, from deep to gentle and includes energy work and the Graston Technique to help guide you back to your natural state of balance.

Clinical Animal Massage & Reiki
for physical and mental pain management
Animals benefit from touch just like we do!
But sports massage goes beyond the loving petting they get from you. This therapeutic treatment modality can alleviate pain by reducing inflammation & swelling in the joints, enhance range of motion, rid the body of harmful toxins, positively effect emotion & mental stability. It can be performed on most any animal, at any point in their life. From the athletic, even competing horse or dog to the retiring and beloved family pet.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Universal life force energy is channeled through the practitioner and applied in either a hands-on method or at a distance. Reiki treats body, emotions, mind and spirit.
Session lengths range due to size and compliance of the creature.
for bringing peace of mind and healing along with greater connection
The sensitive nature and unwavering honesty that animals cannot hide give aide to their healing process. The Trust Technique was designed to bring peace of mind to animals who have been abused, neglected, mistreated in any way. Behavioral issues such as excessive barking, aggressiveness with other dogs, discomfort with unfamiliar humans, dislike for being put on a leash, etc. come from past experiences, most likely in the very earliest stages of life. Animals have the capacity to go through an early life regression to release the fears that have molded their personalities. By going at the animal's pace and allowing listening to turn into learning, The Trust Technique teaches the animal how to find their way back to the peace they once knew and to the confidence they so deserve.
... anything can be accomplished.
This wonderful modality works hand-in-hand with massage to aid in the healing of the stressed animal.
Session lengths vary. CBD Oil for pets available upon request for an additional minimal fee.

"Friends, above all I pray that you would prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers." ~ 3John1:2
"Jeanie's wisdom and guidance are very genuine. She helped me connect with my higher self. Since my session with her, the miracles and successes I am still experiencing have been unparalleled."
-Jeromi Stewart, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Inventor & CDO of GumChucks
"Linda is a talented healer and intuitive. She has helped me through many of my life crisis."
"Erika is an amazing massage therapist! I'm addicted to massages & she's the best massage therapist I've ever used. This is not just a "back rub", this is true therapy for painful muscles. Highly recommend letting her work on your pain points!"
"Lisa is an incredible healer! She has such a wonderful calm and comforting presence about her! The second you walk into the office you are happily greeted at the front desk. Out pops Lisa with her fabulous smile asking about your day inviting you into the peaceful
massage room and discusses your ailments with you. She is very knowledgeable and explains the array of techniques she offers. I have had body work done for many years and used different approaches. Lisa is so in tune. She starts by paying attention to your
body and how it reacts to the treatment. As much as I said I could take a lot of pressure it had been a long time since my last massage. She can definitely give good pressure (which some claim but don’t follow through). Lisa pulled back from some pressure
as she noticed my body tensing and eased back into it during the massage! She found issues I didn’t even know I had and released so much tension in that spot. I was able to choose which treatments I wanted. We used silicone cupping, massage and the Graston
Technique. Incredible! Between her gift of touch, her delightful charm and her professionalism it’s clear she is in the right field! I plan on being a regular client! Thank you Lisa you are amazing!!"
"Jeanie is easy to connect with, professional, and is just plain awesome at what she does! It is definitely worth your time to have a session with her - you will be so pleased with the results.”
-Monty Bass, Film Editor, Burbank, CA
"Erika is more than a dedicated massage therapist--she's an amazing healer who brings her love of all life to the experience. No animal is too small or strange for her: she did a session with our bearded dragon! He has kidney tumors."
"Erika is a fantastic massage therapist. She finds the knots and knows just the right technique and pressure to use to work them out. She is also a very nice and caring person which makes the massage experience that much better."
"My horse loves Erika! She has really helped him when he's been hurt and by working on some old issues. She has a really nice energy that seems to relax him too :) "
"Erika is knowledgable, personable and thorough. She does an evaluation each visit, focussing on what each client requires. As a long term client of hers, I am confident that she is a real pro and her work is truly beneficial, particularly on a weekly basis."
